Chris Cody Ph.D
Board Chair, Hope Community Public Charter School

I have worked with Dr. Harris for many years in our district as a fellow board member for Hope Community Public Charter Schools. As Board Chair, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Harris on many district and school improvement initiatives. Dr. Harris demonstrates excellent facilitation skills. She provides structures and guidance to help her fellow teachers actively engage in shared and valuable work. She gently probes and questions in a way that pushes the team to higher levels of thinking. Her guidance, as a member of the Academic Excellence committee, has helped teachers effectively look at student work and also review screening and progress monitoring data in order to make deliberate instructional moves. Dr. Harris genuinely respects the teachers that she works with and they very much respect her. She has high expectations for herself and the students and teachers that she works with. I highly recommend her training services.

Christine Mason Ph.D
Executive Director, CEI

As the Executive Director of CEI, I had the opportunity to hire and train Dr. Orinthia Harris, so I can personally vouch that she is a competent and effective trainer. As our primary early childhood STEM trainer, her knowledge base regarding adult instruction is impeccable, and her timing, pacing, and delivery of instruction helps to keep participants engaged. Orinthia has an innovative mind and is quick to adjust her approach as needed so that tasks can be completed quickly. She is dedicated to efficiency and delivers high quality, practical workshops that are versatile enough to meet the demands of the changing educational landscape. I highly recommend her training and development services.

Aisha Ferrell
Education Specialist-Program Manager, Delaware Department of Ed. (DOE)

Our district participated in STEMearly’s Transformation Professional Development path with the goal of shifting the mindset of our teachers during the pandemic. Morale was low, and I can truly say that this training contributed tremendously in changing the culture of our early childhood centers to a growth mindset, even in these tough circumstances. The training tools for effective educational leadership practices for positive climate change within an early childhood center were implemented by our teachers with relative ease. The leadership training was critical. Through the mentoring process, our leaders were able to demonstrate their understanding of their pivotal role as center leaders. I noticed a shift in how they communicated with their children, parents, and the community in which they served. Our teachers commented on how engaging the sessions were, and their eagerness to involve their parents more in the learning process. We look forward to working with STEMearly again.
